Hi to everyone on this thread...I have a large team and would like to say...pleeeeease click on 'GENEALOGY' in the Trader section of the company website and then click on 'VIEW UPLINE'. When you see someone with 'ET' next to their name, click on the name and all their contact details will emerge (clever isn't' it!). I would urge you to contact them and learn from any of your upline ETs...it's what they're there for!0

The Dresser was in the Chrismas catalogue 2008, and wasn't in the end of stock pages, so it is likely to be in the range this Christmas. It's code is ADV11. I think they can still be ordered, even if they're not in the spring/summer catalogue.
Why not get onto Phoenix and find a trader near you? It's size means it will be expensive to post, and hard not to get damaged in the post. We are not allowed to seek customers directly on this thread, so you will need to find a trader via phoning Phoenix or through their website.

Hi, medium hamper brimming with cards, and products(keep a list of whats in it if you can)plus 4 or 5 brochures so they can be passed around the office, with about 20 triplicate order forms-make a laminated note to tie to hamper lid with easy bullet points of how to order /and or take stock from basket.
HTH!!! If receptionist very helpful and to encourage I offer them 10% off their order.
I would definately echo this. My first basket drop was horrendous and after 3 weeks, expecting to pick up an envelope full of cash staff were "confused" as to what to do. The letter I enclosed was very straight forward but as egg says, keep it very simple with bullet points as it seems they just don't have time to sit and read much.0 -
Thank you to all those ladies who took the time to answer my questions about doing business with Phoenix, sometimes at great length. My information pack took a long time to get here (had to phone up as I think they forgot), and I've been trying to contact the designated sponsor for three days with no success....Before I write the cheque I have a couple more questions, if that's OK?
I'm planning on ordering the basic starter kit, and would like to know how many catalogues are included? Also, can I order other items when I send off for my first kit, for example cards that I personally will send and in the meantime use as stock (so they are not 'wasted' if nobody wants to buy them), more catalogues, cellophane bags.....?
I was going to ask about the best way to do catalogue drops at offices but having read the prvious post have a better idea now.Although, do you find that people are willing to place orders? Don't they prefer to buy direct from the basket? In the first case (orders), I presume you get them to pay up front? Cash or cheques? (I would think cheques were a safer bet, but are people willing?) In the case of buying from the basket, do you find that people are honest about it? I was thinking of asking if I could set up a itte table at first, maybe over lunchtime, to sell from the basket, then leave cataogues for0 -
Ooops! Something went wrong there!
So, as I was saying, after selling from stock, leave the cataogues for a few days then call back to collect any other orders? Is that too time-consuming? I thought it might be a good idea at least the first time so they get to know me, then just leave the basket from then on?
Another question is: how often do you target the same company/school staffroom?
Now, this may sound like a silly question, but I find it hard to believe that people have gift card hostess evenings!! I can see the appeal of the Body Shop, Usborne, Ann Summers, Partylite etc.....but how can people get excited about cards, or am I missing something?! Is this an avenue worth pursuing or would you recommend coffee mornings, basket drops, toddler groups instead? What works best for you?
Thanks again for your time and wisdom!

You buy a candle that last for weeks, months. You buy a pair of knickers that last for years. You buy a card that can only be used once so the next time your need a card you have to go out and buy a new one. The moral is, keep records of people who have bought from you, visit them again in a few months time and contine to do this. Encourage them to buy in bulk so they make savings. If Phoenix is not know in your area you will need to re-education people to buy in bulk. We are just so used to buying a card when we need it, instead of keeping a supply in hand. When someone asks how much the cards are, tell them, 10 for £10.00, if they then say " I don't want 10, say they are only £1.20 each. For a long time I was doing it the other way round, thinking that people wanted to hear the cheaper version.0
