Hi
I am looking for a hotel in Covent Garden (or very close by) 3* upwards for under £200. Dates are 2sep for 3 nights, 2 adults. Breakfast etc is not important.
Anyone have any suggestions? Much appreciated!

Under £200 per night?
If so, try late rooms, there are loads.
If under £200 for all 3 nights, then as the other poster said, the travelodge might just manage the price, without the stars. Or try looking for a b& b or guest house.
Edit - even the travelodge is £308 for the 3 nights0 -
Yeah £200 for the 3 nights ... really on a budget but love the location, so can disregard the stars if necessary...travelodge would've been ideal but too expensive0

How about trying http://www.priceline.co.uk/nyop.html
You enter your budget, and they try to get a hotel to accept it - there's some articles on this site about it.
Personally, i think trying to get a hotel in london for £67 a night is very optimistic0 -

Ok, still try late rooms. It does have some guest houses nearly in your budget like this
The pics looks nice & the location couldn't be better. There are also some rather seedy looking guest houses in bloomsbury
edit - it's not a guest house but an LSE hall of residence. http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g186338-d673551-r10932261-London_School_of_Economics_Northumberland_House-London_England.html0 -

The Strand still have availability so it's always worth giving them a call on 020 7379 4737 and seeing what they can do for you.
The location is perfect for Covent Garden. Just take the side door out of the main reception area, turn right and you're 20yards away.0
