Because people don't always use the correct date format in their title (which should be E: 01/09) there are often a few groups scattered throughout (when you arrange threads via 'thread title') e.g

E 01/09

or

e : 01/09

or

E 1/09

or even

E: 1/09

I did say a while ago when the discussion about ending the lists started, that maybe we could remind ppl if they use the incorrect format, as even missing out the space, or adding 08 as the year on the end alters where the post will be put in terms of thread title. This could help people who want to use the thread title route of sorting

Getting there - I still dont see why the list is gone but I suppose c'est la vie. I'll have to sort tomorrows out tonight I suppose.

I not being ungrateful, really i'm not, its just I can see how it might confuse people that aren't ahead of themselves and now theres no ending list people might miss comps if they dont look in game over for ones ending the first.

I just had look and found a few I hadnt done even though I thought I had done them all anyway lol !!

I'm nearly bang up to date now anyway, just another 40 or 50 pages to go I think !!

Please dont anyone think I am being ungrateful at all though. I understand the board guides arent paid and do a fab job and I am certainly not criticising.

Sorry I am the sort of person that takes things to heart so now I am paranoid that everyone thinks I am ungrateful.

oh and I agree with Laura too, its not exactly a big shock that the comps ending lists have stopped. I wasnt expecting there to be any after the end of August hence why I made the effort to get ahead of myself.

I thought I would miss the comp ending lists.... I started out by not even knowing they were there but when I discovered them, I come to rely on them. Now, I use them only to check, I try and keep myself at least a few days ahead of the closing dates until I have totally caught up.

I think that for the sake of the atmosphere on the forum, maybe it is best that they go, I was shocked to see the reaction to the composer of the 30th August list when a few were missed off and there was a few duff links, the overreaction of some was astounding and to avoid that, I would be happy to see the back of them. Having compiled my first one a few days ago I now realise how time consuming it is to get it right and it makes me angry that the people doing the lists are getting such criticism.

we know you were just asking dont worry the comps wouldnt usually be in game over this early, I think divadee is just taking the chance to clean the board while she has time.. probably not realising about September 1st.
