Sorry, but what the hell is going on. Kipper promised me there would be notice of the comps ending list going so I could catch up - is anyone doing them today, have they gone or what??? Would be nice to have someone actually tell me if they are gone etc...

I can't say as I've seen an announcement either way but there's nothing to stop you doing what I did, I just sorted the comps out by thread and then worked my way through them, managed to get a bit ahead too and do up to the 4th September

Thanks for this Cheeky! I'll add it into the Comping Guide so everyone can benefit from it that wants to just enter comps on the day they are about to end

I also need to amend the Comping Guide that the Comps Ending are away on holiday for a month, that way it may reduce the amount of new threads in the Comps Forum asking where they are. At the very least, the Guide won't be contradicting what is currently happening

Just replying to "mcs Holidays - anyone heard of them?" in the previous thread.

I had a call from them the other day. What they claim to be their web site, "www.mcsholidays.com" does work sometimes. Although it's got contact details on it for a Tacoma, Washington address according to a check on the Internet it actually seems to be based in Pakistan (which would explain the accents of the guys calling).

Although they started out by saying that I'd "been selected by my Visa or Mastercard company" they were unable to quote the first four digits of a credit card back to me. A rep that I was passed to admitted that my phone number was just selected randomly and asked if I'd like to pay £397 to a company that I'd never heard of. Unsurprisingly, I declined.

I had a laugh when I looked at the Ts and Cs on their website. Apparently "This otter expires November 13, 2010". This must be a new ploy by scammers - send us money or the small furry animal gets it!

It's all in the Comping Guide, Getting Started section, item 1 I want to enter comps, what should I do first? / Where do I start?!

How come comps are getting moved to game over before they are game over then?

Luckily I had done the 1st Sept anyway but surely thats not right?
