So what exactly does it do? I use firefox and if theres a way of comping faster I need it lolOooooooooooooooooooooohhhh! (I love it when the light dawns lol)
I was highlighting the blue down arrow too (go to last unread) if you go down the middle of the page with the box it only highlights the thread link rather than the last unread too :j
That explains it! I did figure it was something like that, because it was only doing it for some of the links I highlighted! Thanks for solving this mystery! :T:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j0 -
What I miss is that the threads ending ones that were categorized into sections, like "dvds", "games", "holidays" etc, as it saved me a lot of time to only enter the ones I wanted. Now I have to go through everything, I don't have time to enter every day anymore.
But oh well, it's not up to me.
saved you a lot of time......not the posters who compiled the lists. categorising for me was the most time consuming part of it
It's not difficult to sort by thread title and just select the ones you want.
or if you really want you could enter "laptop", "tv" etc (prizes you want) into the advanced search and enter that way0 -
Please can anyone explain how to search for the comps ending dates.
Thank you0 -
Kisto posted this in discussion thread
The way to find comps by ending date on here is:
Scroll to the bottom of the main competition forum. There are some drop down boxes (under the heading display options).
Choose:
sorted by - "thread title"
sort order - descending or ascending (what ever is your personal preference)
The threads on the forum are then organised by the ending date stated in the thread title. Navigate your way through the pages until you find the ending date you want. Now that divadee has gone to great lengths to ensure they are all titled correctly, the threads are actually very well organised into groups.
Hope this helps you out a little

I wouldn't mind doing the threads ending once or twice per month... I just came back from Mongolia on Saturday and saw that the comps ending threads were gone, made me sad anyways.Wins: January: Wall.e game
