    My experience of LoveFilm Greyhoundcrazy?
Didn't rate them. It's been ages since I used them, When unemployed a while back I used ALL those rent-through-the-post companies and took advantage of the free trials.

The best seemed to be Blockbuster & Amazon - I actually stayed with Amazon awhile because they seemed to carry lots of obscure stuff & were quick to get new films to me...unlike LoveFilm. Unfortunately Amazon's Rental part is now run by LoveFilm so I'd never join them again.
LoveFilms main faults were getting new films to me, You mention you had 12 on your waiting list, I think they recommend 20 so maybe try adding a few more?
One good thing about LoveFilm is that when I cancelled the trial a few weeks later they sent me a FREE 3 month subscription.

Lol Lovefilm were my enemies for a short while. I recieved a voucher for a 30 day free trial which I used and loved. However, I was a student therefore couldn't afford anything that wasn't an essential 5 days before the end of the trial I attempted to cancel it but the woman told me I couldn't. This was on the day of a final year exam so I said I couldn't handle it (what attempting to stifle exam nerves which had turned into utter irritation!) that day and would ring back the next day. Next day, I was informed I couldn't cancel and was advised to take a 12.99 account! Not even the cheapest account available! They took it out of my account. So after a very long email where I quoted their own cancellation faqs which supported the fact I could have cancelled the acc in the first phonecall. I recieved the 12.99 back, yeah :)

I was very happy with LF but I just couldn't afford it. I probably would use them again but now I know the cancellation process inside out!
  • We used LF initially for a 3 month free trial and have carried on. They are priced very competively (espcecially if you pre pay for 3 months) and we have had no problems with film / games arriving quickly and have never been sent anything not on our list.

Also have a few friends using it and no-one has had any problems.
