You're a bit late nedmundo seeing as my OP was back in August
Ended up at a small independent shop, very knowledgeable and helpful guy gave us great advice and demonstrated his best buys in our price range. Came away with a great TEAC and we're thrilled with it.0 -
In the 1950s / 1960s if you bought a piece of premium hifi kit you could be certain your investment would not be obsoleted or undercut within the next year. Not so nowadays. Today, good amps and speakers will be reasonably future-proof, anything digital consider disposable.
I hope not. I'm hoping to get a good few years out of my Slim Devices Transporter. (Actually, I've had two years out of it and it's still as good as the day ot was bought, as is my original six or seven year old Squeezebox 1 and my three or four year old Squeezebox 2).There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
