Turn what on to always, i aint become techie minded since this afternoon ya know :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: you have to be more explicit than that

I think Mr Skint means set all the options to 'Never'. Ok right click the desktop. properties, screen Saver tab, power, Power schemes
all set to never and then click OK................
hust means that stuff wont turn off like Hard Drive, Monitor etc.0 -

right ive changed to portable/laptop and switched everything to never
is this right
dunno why it only just started though, unless them upgrade things can change settings

Updates shouldnt bum things up... Just use it for a while
click start then run
type cmd and press ok
in the dos window type:
net config server /autodisconnect:-1
hit enter
reboot pc
that will disabled xp's annoying autodisconnect
dont forget to look at spaces in the command that you type0 -

Honest give it a whirl and after you have hit enter it will say Operation successful
or similar as I just did it on my PC no worries................
