If you want to 'synchronise' the folders from your webmail then you'll need to use IMAP. POP3 does not support this.0

If anyone's looking for a very lightweight (but functional) email client, I can thoroughly recommend Courier (formerly Calypso). It's very easy to use, very lightweight, and just works as it should without any bloated CRM/calender components:

I'm not sure how to import additional folders even in Courier, though. I have an email account with GMX, which automaticially puts things in a spam folder. Although I can see my inbox with Courier, the only way to see the spam folder is to log on via the web interface...0
