I don't like Outlook Express as it appears a bit cumbersome.
Does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives that will run on XP Home?

Does everything Outlook Express did and is sort of its successor, but it's name often makes people think it's only for Live mail (formerly Hotmail)0 -

Why n ot web based e mail accounts????
Like Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, you can even have all messages delivered into one of the accounts.0 -
What protocol are you using to pick up your e-mail? POP3 or IMAP?0

Windows Live Mail. Simpler version of Outlook Express. And it WILL import from OE.
