When I went into The Body Shop to buy my "normal stuff" yesterday, they had 20% off all purchases for "Love Your Body" members so I made a great saving then.

I had noticed they had some lovely gift sets reduced, which you would then get a further 20% off. I didn't want to just randomly buy stuff so thought about what presents I needed and returned today. I bought a birthday present and two Christmas presents, and actually got more presents for less money (if that makes sense!). My friends will get some lovely presents and I saved £7.42 ... plus got a free gift worth £10, which I will try not to get tempted to use as I think it'll make a great present for someone else.

Well I looked at my receipt for some aprons I bought last week - I thought for 49p each (I got 5 of them they were for pressies). Looked at the receipt and each went thro as 1p each - so total 5p spend! :rotfl: Saving me £2.40 - so adding that. Today I went to the garage (to get the work done they quoted for last week) and said, "Last week I forgot to bargain with you, is there any way you can give me a better deal?" Instead of my car bill costing £79.99 - they are doing it for £32.50!!!!!:money: Saving me a whopping £47.49. :j Just for asking... I'll try and forget all the other times I didn't ask...:o

Good day today, sold another couple of books and actually managed to get all the way through a Toluna survey without getting kicked out!!

Also my boss's daughter has just gone to uni and had a big clearout of all her size 10/12 clothes that don't fit her anymore and so i got given a big black bag of clothes and was told i could have anything i wanted but that there probably wasn't anything in there worth taking.

so i bought it home to put in the samaritans bank and thought id have a quick check to make sure - and i got a cute pair of posh shorts, 3 tshirts, 1 shirt, 2 vests, 2 belts, 2 hoodies, a cardigan and 2 strapless tops!!! all h&m, DP, next, roxy quiksilver, and new look, and most of them not even worn - amazing - i feel like i've just been given a whole new wardrobe for FREE!! :D

only 3 days left to go now... keep pushing guys :)
