Solution ... need to have some sort of reserves for this, I tend to want to spend money when sick since I am not in the mood to cook etc, and feel blah about it all.
Maybe having a emergency freezer meal etc for the sprog would help, cheaper and easier than a take away for him when I can't even stand up for 5 mins without feeling like I am dying lol. Even just a few serves of frozen home made mac and cheese and a frozen pizza or two I am thinking...:o
This year I have been good about stocking up on supplies for colds etc when they are on special before I need them, definelty saves money.
