question about microfilters that isn't answered in the sticky

Hi all,

bit of a complicated question, but you guys and girls have never let me down before,

currently sat in front room while my new kitchen is being fitted, have just been told that my phone point will need to be boxed in to make up for the fact that my kitchen is a mess of wonky walls and angles, currently in my master socket I have micro filter, which feeds my wireless router which is close by, into the phone side of the filter i have a 3 way spliter, one feeds the sky box upstairs, one is an extension that feeds the sky + box in the front room, and the third for the cordless phone base unit which is next to the router. everything works fine, phone is clear, internet is as fast as can be expected and stable.

due to the design of the new kitchen i need to move the router and coldless to the front room, I guess I need to keep the microfilter on the master socket, can I then put a second filter into the extesion by the sky+ box then fit a double socket into this for the sky and phone, or will the single have already been split by the first filter meaning the internet will be poor or dead compleatly

hope you can help

Matt

If the extension lead to your sky tv box is running from the telephone side of the filter already you do not have to filter it again.

You can fit another microfilter to an extension. You router will work.
