Here are some useful symbols that people might like to cut and paste for any future discussion - that's about all I can manage at the moment

    °C ² ³ ¼ ½ ¾ δθ λ μ π ρ σ ω Ω Ø

I don't think π (pi) comes out that well

Did you know that Kirchoff's Voltage Law states that the sum of the voltage drops around any closed loop in a network must equal zero. And that his Current Law states that at every node, the sum of all currents entering a node must equal zero.

Obviously this has no bearing on the original question, just thought I'd enter the Geekhood. ;):D
Is this a good time to mention Thevenon?
There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

Is he any relation to Léon Charles Thévenin, the French telegraph engineer who developed a theorem in 1883? ;)
