I called dell and they told me it was a mistake and the guy said that dell wont be selling them for 20 pounds each and that there web people are not here at the weekend lol

Most of the time.. I would disagree... I had done 4 buys from 4 companys and 2 gave me the item for the price and one gave be a free 12.99 voucher..

I just ordered a brand new Ferrari for £5. It should have been £500,000. So I phoned up Ferrari and told them about their price mistake, and they cancelled my order.

its because people get excited over a mis price that they panic..and phone the company concerned. often drawing their attention to it. if people sat tight and didnt inform the trader, some early orders may be completed.

often in large companies - the dispatch guys dont know how much the sales people sell them for etc etc.left hand right hand situation.

basically if a bargain or mis price appears..order it...sit tight..say nothing..until you have a contract or its cancelled. How difficult can it be.

bargain hunters ha! were just doing system testing for online retailers at the moment telling them of their mistakes.

DO NOT phone and say " just saw item on website its £200 cheaper than elsewhere can you assure me i'll get it for that price"...even the most basic of traders will change the price...or put a hold on stock...no one is going to give stuff if they have been given a heads up prior to ANY being shipped. .doh !!!!!!
