I see Dell have changed the wording of the Internet Reciept Acknowledgement to cover there backsides -

We will send you a written Order Confirmation to confirm acceptance of your order or will contact you if there is a problem with your order. The Order Confirmation will contain your Order Number and the final purchase amount pending any charges resulting from the verification of the online pricing of your order. Please note that Dell will not be responsible for typographical, pricing or other errors and reserves the right to cancel any orders based on such errors.

I think we will be incredibly lucky if this goes through.

Dont forget,

as a consumer you are always protected by the distance selling act. Which means if they knock up the price you can return it within 7 days for a refund.

They state the amount that must be debited from your account before submittion. So they can just bump it up without you knowin?

Anyway the prices have now changed to include VAT and shipping !! Very strange ???

because when you are a business or self-employed, most things show excluding VAT
