But its been 10 working days,
Buyer though has paid..you can't dispute that th efact that payment hasn't cleared is immaterial.
What about cheques, if someone sends you one of them and you bank it do you still consider yourself unpaid until it clears?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. But its been 10 working days, not including weekends. I suppose because Im so organised and do everything immediately I expect everyone to be the same. By the way, if I was able to give him a Neg for this I wouldn't. I know he's not doing this on purpose its just frustrating.
Its like the difference between me and my daughter. She packs for a holiday abroad on Saturday evening when she is leaving the house in the early hours of Sunday morning!
I pack at least three weeks before I go!!!
I think you've hit the nail on the head here. You are expecting everyone to behave in the same way as you, which is not really fair. If you plan to keep selling on E-bay you really need to chill out as I'm sure this won't be the last e-cheque you get.

I had a seller once who sent me the item before my payment cleared. Don't know if it was a mistake or because of my good feedback, but it would be unreasonable of me to expect everyone to act in the same way.
None of us know what is going on in anyone else's life. Even my neighbours are largely a mystery, so some username on the internet is even more so. Broken computer, broken internet, illness, called away on work, family emergency, house burning down; perhaps they were waiting on a cheque clearing into their account or their salary going into the bank.
You can't attribute any of it to a lack of organisation on their part unless you know the full story, which you don't. From the emails they have sent you, they sound quite reasonable, so I think you should give them the benefit of the doubt.0 -

I suppose I can't understand why someone would wait 2 days before paying. Whenever I bid for something Im sitting at the computer and then, if I win, I put through a payment straight away or send an email to state I will pay by cheque/postal order. Either way, the seller knows exactly what Im doing at the time of winning the item. I can't imagine winning something and thinking "great Ive won!" and then turning off my computer and leaving it for 2 days before I pay! Must be just me.

When this buyer put his Paypal payment through and it was made clear that Paypal were delaying it I suggested that he send a cheque/postal order and cancel the Paypal payment instead and he refused. He won the item on Sunday 17th Aug and its now 29th and the payment is still uncleared in Paypal. It may not be his fault (or it may be if he has an out of date cr card on Paypal) but I did give him an alternative way to pay to cut Paypal out of the loop. If he had sent me a cheque it would have cleared by now and postal orders are like getting cash. I would personally hate to leave a seller waiting for my money.
You sound quite a nightmare to deal with, tbh0 -

I sincerely hope that the Buyer negs you (or at very least a neutral) for the hassle you have given over the payment and for being totally unreasonable with an issue that is out of the Buyer's hands
Don't sweat the small stuff.
I pack two weeks before I go on holiday - but am not anal about ebay buyers paying me the second the auction ends.
