I do understand to a point and everyone is different and has different scenarios and hopefully never have to be in this position but one of the first things that I got rid of is Sky - get freeview and be done with it! there are quite a few accounts you can use tho and there are several links on this site, when I did research a while ago for a friend on benefits and with big debts she opted for Barclays Basic account and that is very good. stick in basic bank accounts into the search and it will bring useful info up
I take it you haven't been through a bankruptcy?
Why can't the OP have sky and broadband? If the OP has had to make the decision to go bankrupt then I can't see where not having sky & broadband would make that much difference, I doubt that the money being paid out for sky & broadband would have been enough to save the OP from bankruptcy if they were cancelled.
Normally you have to pay for sky out of your surplus income. The same with broadband unless you have a phone package with broadband included.
Good Luck on Monday VeraG. I will thinking about you. Let us know how you get on please.0 -

Vera and Mellie, all the best for tomorrow, both of you.
I am sure you will both be fine. Take a book or magazine to read, a drink and a little snack. Sometimes you are in and out and every thing moves along swiftly but other times things seem to chug along at their own pace and you may be there a while waiting for diffrnt things to happen, so better to be prepared.
(((hugs))) to you both.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
