    Do the following, on initial boot press F8 as per safe-mode, select "Last known good config" and try and boot, if you can get in install AVAST! antivirus, it is free, it works 100000000% than the majority of the "over-hyped" commercial bloatware on the market and it finds Virus etc very well.
    Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

    Thanks everyone for your ideas so far.
    I have some good news, i've managed to get it into safe mode at last (yippeeeeeeee). But the bad news is that even in safe mode i cannot remove the program. This time it comes up with this message whilst in safe mode,
    The window installer service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running in safe mode. Or if the windows installer is not correctly installed.
    Has anyone got any more ideas please.
    If i could i would, but i cannot so i wont, but maybe one day i will.

    If the program is running you will need to close it sometimes before it can be uninstalled. Do ctrl+alt+delete and go to processes then find it and end it. Also post a hijackthis log http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/ and download,install,update and scan with malwarebythes http://www.malwarebytes.org/
