thanks everybody for the above advise
i have another Q hope somebody can advise
Since advertising the car on a few web sites like scot adds & exchange & mart i keep getting phone calls from companys telling me they have buyers for my car and i have to pay a fee off £79 and then they will send the potential buyers to view the car ! they are claming that they will get my asking price and once the car is sold they will refund me my initial fee off £79 !
I asked them where they get these potential buyers and they tell me that these buyers have spotted my car and call them i think they said something about finance ?
one off the companys who called have a web site www.motorshopuk.com
I was tempted as would like to get the car off my hands but a bit scepticle to give my switch details to pay the initial fee of £79
I have never had to sell a car before & know nothing about the process
Has anybody got any advice on these companys ? are they legite
Thanks

Nope, avoid like the plague.
They stay on the right side of the law because they insist that they "buyer" has changed their mind about your car, when they didn't realy exist in the first place.
Like I say, avoid.0 -

avoid, just knock 79 off the price if your desperate to flog it, or put 6 more months tax on, or a tank of fuel or new tyres, much better use of £790 -
