Dress Dilemma - I Cannot Choose!!!!

Well I have just got back......and I bought dress 2!!!!! And it is hanging up in my wardrobe right now
I am so happy :j :j :j
I tried it on again at 12:00 today and I just knew that it was the one. I absolutely love it. Because it was a shop sample I could take it away today, and then I will go back in April to get it altered to fit perfectly. I've been dieting like carzy the last 6 months and wanted to get a size 10 dress. Well this is a size 12 and it is too big, so I guess if it was a 10 it would fit
I'm going to look online to see if I can find as similar as possible, but it won't be the same dress. The boutique works in conjunction with the designer to design the dress, so I will have to find the best match possible.
Now I just need to source a 3 tier, one hoop petticiat. Any ideas????
Aimee - my wedding is the week after yours - 15 August
Horace - shame about the BM dresses. Things go so quick on Freecycle it's amazing!!0 -
Hi Sammy,
I'd just read through your post and was willing you to get number 2!
It sounds lovely and you sound so excited and happy. Glad you've got what you want!
I must pull my finger out and sort mine out........

Aww I'm dead pleased Sammy. Now get a pic on here cos I am dying to see it! I was so lucky with mine. Mine is also a shop sample and fits me perfectly- no alterations whatsoever! I don't think anyone had tried it on before me as it was so clean. They cleaned it before collection anyway. Instead of me posting it on here, I will start a show us your dresses thread so everyone can post and we can all 'ooh' and 'aah' :rotfl:0

This is it. Kind of!!! It is this style (Anu Pam Classic 1045) in ivory but it has been modified. It is a bigger skirt with a train. And the trailing flower that is on the side has been moved to the back to create the bustle and the "apron" isn't hitched up as much as in this photo. It's all silk and silk tulle and it looks fabulous!! I love it
The corset is lace up - yay, and it has loads of deatil and swarovski crystals.

A stunning dress :T0

It is more than fabulous - its absolutely stunning.
Am pleased that you went for the dress that felt right.0 -
Thank you so much Aimee and Horace. I am so happy. The picture looks pink, but it is definitely ivory. The bodice has swarovski crystals so I'm on ebay trying to find a veil with swarovski as the one in the shop was £96
I can't wait til April when all the fittings are done, the dress is cleaned to perfection and it's just perfect!!
So glad I went wedding dress shopping whilst I'm on holiday from work. Otherwise I would only be able to make it on a Saturday. Saturdays = stress!!!!0 -

I don't need any BM dresses at all, I just saw them on freecycle and thought of getting them as they may have been useful for one of you gals:D0
