You would have had to apply to the local council to have the kerb dropped and by the sounds of it the space might not have met their minimum space requirements to allow you to park in the front. Apart from that, they might have refused permission due to its proximity to a junction and the potential hazard you'd cause to other road users as you drove in/out of the space.
So that's another thing for you to think about.
You can't just go creating parking spaces in gardens. Mostly permission is needed. Also, there might be something in the deeds/lease of any flat regarding changing the surrounding landscape.
I suggest you flag up the parking as an issue and investigate these matters too.
As for dropping the price, nothing about the property has changed. So you were rash to make these assumptions without mentioning your wishes at an earlier stage.
the kerb is dropped, the car fits in but it isnt 'roomy' and it would be fairly annoying and dangerous to reverse out into the main road in the morning, and will not be the easiest thing to hold up the traffic whilst i reverse in the road to park
as for dropping the price, the property has changed to some degree as part of the original attraction (to some degree) was that it has a front garden0 -

If the extra land was part of the appeal, and it is no longer included, no reduction in price will ever make up for that.
Just find a better house from a legitimate EA that wont lie so stupidly to try to get a sale.Bankruptcy isn't the worst that can happen to you. The worst that can happen is your forced to live the rest of your life in abject poverty trying to repay the debts.0 -
Walk away and report them to the local police for not having a HIP.
This is civil. Not criminal. Police would not get involved... Trading standards have certain powers to take EA to court, but this would be through a civil court and not your local magistratesGetting Married Sat Aug 22nd 2009...... so excited!!

Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier In that case for the government
To dissolve the people
And elect another?0 -
The front garden is no longer mine as i first imagined,
If you thought the original price included a garden (were you told this or just left to believe it?) and now it doesn't then just walk away. Especially if the estate agent is being pushy.
They need you (a FTB and no chain!) more then you need them.0
