£5 Voucher at Play.com with the Mirror

my husband didn't believe me when i told him they're deleting mail without reading it, so he tried for himself and yes it was deleted unread. he's fuming.

I emailed them earlier in the week at an email address I made up (info@play.com) or something like that, and got a reply within 3-4 hours

That was with edealsuk in the subject line though

I still havent received mine, i got my email confirmation at 9.31am on Wed morning. Ive emailed a few times, and forwarded the confirmation email. I received their newsletter fine a couple of days ago. Ive only bought one thing from them before a couple of months ago, and there were a few things I wanted to order, but Ive been put off a bit now, and Ive been waiting to see if I will actually receive anything. I thought the terms and conditions said that even if I didnt get a £5 voucher then I would get a £1? Has anyone actually got a £1 voucher? Maybe if they didnt want to give me a £5, but sent me a £1 then I would have thought 'win some lose some', used the code, and moved on as it were.....but to hear nothing.......!Its really rude!

I believe from what others have said you can, but still not heard from Play about where mine went...

yes it's possible - i've done it once (or twice)

I placed an order for something for me using my voucher on 21st Nov & something for my Dad using his voucher on 24th Nov, neither have turned up yet. How long does it normally take? I have never waited more than 3/4 days before

Just checked & it says mine was posted 22nd & my Dad's is now out of stock, do I start to worry where mine is yet & my Dad's wasn't out of stock when I ordered ?

i never received either the £5 or £1 voucher either - what a stupid farce

i dont have a spam filter so cant have been that reason either

and yeap they delete my emails without reading them

I e-mailed them regarding this deleting of messages issue, and here is the reply I got:

Thank you for your email.

Please accept our apologise for any inconvenience caused to you from the delay in resolving this issue. Please be assured that you emails are not being deleted before we have forwarded your details onto the department who deal with this.

There have been a number of queries regarding this promotion and therefore it is taking an unusually long time to answer queries.
