help i seem to have broke my computer

i am using an eee pc to post on.

so am i understanding this right, i need to click on the link on another computer, burn onto a cd then run the cd in my computer, i should be able to do this at my friends house tomorow then i will report back.

I haven't used the particular tool myself, so I don't know the interface.

See how you get on with it, if it doesn't do the job, I'll point you towards another Live CD(a system whereby you have access to the files on your computer without overwriting them).
