thanks for that hun.. its just my hips tryin to kill me:mad: before i had jess i was gymnast, dnt think it did my joints too much good.sat on the floor one day and couldnt get up my hips just cracked n locked up.was on cruchers for weeks waiting for xrays to be told there was nothing wrong:rolleyes: i had funny hips when i was a baby thou so thats y i got into gym in the first place to try and put it rite.
had some lovely times carryin jess too and went from a size 8 jeans now up arund a 14/16:eek: its not because of weight gain either thank god just my hips r huge yet doctors still dont give a crap. The only pain killers i get given are co-codamol which just dnt cut it but they dnt care its not them that has to cope with it and run round after monster all day.

will get my hc added to my card havent had chanceyet and get some of those tablets in stock:T

That sounds awful, and like something they should look into! I know all about joint pain, let me tell you. All I can say is I learned the value of going for second (and third) opinions; wish I'd done that sooner!

Here is a little something I found on ibuprofen: (Basically, I was told that ibuprofen handles inflammation better, while paracetemol handles pain better).

"Arthritis is treated with 300 to 800 mg 3 or 4 times daily. When under the care of a physician, the maximum dose of ibuprofen is 3.2 g daily. Otherwise, the maximum dose is 1.2 g daily. Individuals should not use ibuprofen for more than 10 days for the treatment of pain or more than 3 days for the treatment of a fever unless directed by a physician."
If you use both ibuprofen and paracetemol, I'm not sure I'd use the kind with codeine. I'd ask the pharmacist first to make sure it's ok (better safe than sorry). :)

Oh blimey! I cannot keep up with this thread for the past few days! I have had to skim read to catch up, so no doubt I have missed all sorts of interesting things

MrsBB good to see you're keeping up the good work with the makeup. I think I am going to have another go later, and do something crazy like use all the colours at once for a laugh :p

I know these have been mentioned but just thought I would post a piccie: I bought these:
    tedbakerbag.jpg
    tedbakerpurse.jpg
For £3.75 (from £15) and £2.50 (from £10) respectively. When they appeared on the shelves, I thought yuck! They are totally not my colour, but now with them sitting in my present stash I think I have fallen in love with them!

I am also gutted! I received my parenting club vouchers yesterday hoping their would be a nice 750 pointer in there, that I could use in treating myself (again lol) but no  what a load of rubbish! To get over this trauma I will have to get on the pinky merry-go-round tomorrow for a few treats :T
3 children under 5 means not enough comping and crafting time

So phoned up and they have told me that the order has been cancelled, cant tell me why or anything, even though it still has it as processing on our recent orders. Will be so annoyed if i dont get it as i tried to get it yesterday too!

    Hmmph Moan over lol

  • Hi Everyone

Could someone tell me the cheapest way to get the 750 points from PC for Lancome, clarins etc, one item to be skincare?

    Many thanks :D
  • skibster youre 100% right!

im keeping hold of my vouchers til then!
  • How addicted am I to Bootsing ? So addicted that I'd spent my last pinky and tillspit yesterday and wanted more !

I went all the way up to Marlow to check out the small store there. They did have a couple of clearance stands (mainly with suncream, etc). Also some electrical beauty stuff reduced (hairdryer, mens shaver, etc). None of that appealed .................... and then right at the back of the stand I managed to find one of the TB gold small beauty purses (£2.50) and also 2 Benefit Lana Beauty Bags marked at £5. I grabbed the TB one straight away but ummed and ahhed about the Benefit one, I did buy one of them eventually, I'm so glad I did because when I got back home and googled Benefit Lana Beauty Bag, found it being sold for £29.50 in most places including Benefit directly !!!!!!!! So that was a bargain. So if any of your Bootsers are near Marlow and want a Benefit Lana Beauty Bag (it has a lady in a corset on the front, and is yellow/black in colour), theres one on the clearance section at front of shop near the doors.

And of course I got a shiny new pinky and skincare tillspit as I'd spend £7.50.

Now am planning my next shop already ................ I even dream about boots now, is that sad or what ! But have a feeling I'm not the only one.

I too like many of you have now run out of space at home for my Boots stash ............ even the boot of my car is now overflowing.
