just got back from a major boots haul
1st shop
4x tan maintainers bogof &h alf price and gwp
total 5 pound after tillsplit plusgot 2 tillsplits at the self service till

4 x glossy locks bogof /hp
paid with tillsplit so cost 77p!
1 no base coat 1.25 after tillsplit
1 no 7 nail varnish 1.25 after tillsplit
1 no 7 top coat 1.25 after tillsplit

then 3x sanctuary masks 37p after tillsplit

then 5 timedelay cleansing lotions free with tillsplits plus gained 1000 points!:T

treat myself to a med bag half price at 7.50 as was looking at the body butters then found the blue bag full of products for same price:eek: paid with points.

so super shop and found out the self service one gives a totally different tillsplit so may be combined with the other one, not brave enough to try it though but may try with the self service no7 and a pinkie if brave

so now got my own little boots shop going on

:T Woo hoo, found 4 17 Vintage GWP today, great for girls pressies but the colour of the polish looks awful for a grown lady IMHO. Also got more R&M bags including black one which I'd not got. Broclo I will post a cream one to you as I found 2 more today . Going to bed now as feel dreadful with a migraine. TTFN

last year they did a double discount day for staff at the end of october :j
im keeping my fingers crossed for another one this year!

has anyone been to boots opticians lately?
i get my glasses from there & theres a voucher on the ad-card machine for £25 off a pair.
that & my discount = lovely new glasses for a very reasonable £68!

Thanks...I bet you are right about the 'less is more'

Trouble is when the stuff is practically free it's soooo easy to just whack loads on...whereas when ya pay loads ya tend to be rather more sparing.

I'll try using either glosser or conditioner and just a tiny dablet of serum in future :rolleyes:

Completely agree on that one! I tried it and decided it was a big no no, my 3 year old DD loves it though (carefully applied by Mummy, lol).

it was this one, last one in main boots birmingham but may be h/p elsewhere.
the body butter would have cost 7.50 anyway so it was worth it.

Got a question for the professionals if you don't mind: I'm just wondering how does boots decide which products go to clearance please? For example, is it nationwide that similar products go to clearance at certain time, or it's up to store managers? Also for example, stores such as TK Maxx, once the product is out there for certain period, it gets reduced, so basically the clearances are location/time/manufacturer/brand... based?
