  • yeah its mega day this saturday in most, if not all stores.
lots of extra offers, the biggie is 500 points when you spend £30!
  • at my local i think all of the cheapest items are £6.50!!

Hiya cornishlady  I know your part of the world very well - especially the stretch from Bude across to Barnstaple/Ilfracombe way (Hartland etc). I think the big Boots in Barnstaple town centre is generally best for bargains, although I have picked up the odd one in the tiny Boots next to Sainburys at Roundswell. I think Boots in Bideford has to be the smallest Boots I have ever been it - it even made the little one in Oakham (little town in the little county of Rutland...where I grew up) look quite big!

Will be down in the St Austell area in September - not really planning on doing any real shopping, but I always manage to leave something at home like conditioner, razor blades or cotton wool, so a quick visit can be excused :D

Yes, you think you know people, and something happens to open your eyes up. There has been an incident-a rather big incident which occured here this week, and it was someone I know, and my DS2 has played in their house-sent shivers up and down me, turned me cold with fright&shock. You just never know x

Not happened to me but if you want to get the shampoo or conditioner for £2.51 I think you could quite convincingly argue that you don't care about their 2 for £7 offer because you want your long hair product FREE as stated on voucher and want to PAY for the other item. The till will force them to give you the shampoo/conditioner for £2.51 instead of £4.49 and if there's a big queue I doubt they'll bother fidgeting around with it to make you pay full price for it. Meanwhile you do get 2 TS products for £2.51 which is still good deal.

But this might not be the case. Others have reported about other offers that the SA just scans the not-free item and simply gives you the other item, so you do end up paying full price for one of them.

Yeah, it's all SA dependant - but at the end of the day if you don't want to part with your money you don't have to, just tell them you've changed your mind.......;)
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".
