  • Its going to be a long list!!
More [STRIKE]knowledge[/STRIKE] stuff then sense

Chocolate makes the world go round :EasterBun
  • Kind of off topic but since bottles of coke likely to be a common thing people buy to get their total spends up I thought I would share:
If you are a total diet coke addict like myself, I might be teaching people to suck eggs here but I only just discovered that the Coke Zone website actually gives you equivalent of 20p back per plastic bottle. The first six or seven pages of so-called "rewards" are total pants but by page 7 or 8 you get to the albeit limited selection of VOUCHERS. If you tap in the 12 digit code on bottle you get 2 points and after 100 points you can have £5 voucher for either WHSmiths, New Look or JJB Sports. Not interested in latter two but WHSmiths vouchers can be spent on gift cards for places like Wallis, Habitats and iTunes cards and loads of other high street places (sadly not Boots though!). Bit of a pain to type the numbers in but 40p back on £1.50 worth of coke (if you buy 2 bottles at once like me) is pretty good return. Yes yes I know you'd be far better off if you didn't buy damn stuff in first place but along with Bootsing, diet coke is my other vice.

    12 No 7 vouchers  :T :j
Gosh I can see why you've got a headache :rotfl:
It really depends on what you will use/ want for pressies etc, and also if you want to go for minimum spend or if you have certain bits and pieces you would like to treat yourself to :D
If you're going for the low spend option, I'd suggest looking at the R&M accessories- pack of 3 cosmetic face sponges, posh nail buffer, and the R&M bags all go through for free with a spit :D
I think the R&M i-liner is also a fiver, and there are lots of other R&M brushes that will be just a few pounds after a till spit.

Also sunstuff is a good buy- could get 2 x lip/ eye screen or 2x glossy locks for just 75p with the voucher which is really good value (or even 4 x if your store has them on half price  )

Don't forget the 250 pointers from the No7 gwp's if you haven't already spent them ;)

Good luck hun, and let us know how you get on :D
Urrrgh I have total headache (not literally). Twelve, yes TWELVE No7 spits and pinkies to use up before I go on holiday next week and I cannot for life of me decide what to use them on to best effect. Already got 2 No7 gwps so not particularly bothered about getting another one of those. Off to a branch stocking R&M and SS tills later hopefully but annoying it's one that charges higher prices for No7 so it had better be worth it!

Once I've used all I'm going to use in time I will post list of whatever I've got left and will post these out for some other Bootsers to have fun with.

In the meantime WHAT SHALL I "BUY"?!!!!

  • Oooh....this is good belle...we could on Dragon's Den!! :rotfl: And we can explain how Boots was our inspiration for it :D I tell ya, if I fail my nursing degree...(which I'm not gonna) I may just have to take you up on this idea...either that or with me going into theatre nursing, I could always make over patients while they're in recovery :D;) :rotfl:

I don't actually get to look all glam often....don't wear a lot of make up all the time, OH prefers natural look...he looks at my eye make up and says - What ya got all that on ya face for?

My OH is the same....so I "stopped using" black mascara (switched from black to brown/black) and and began using a brown eyeliner instead of black (just at the outside corners of my eyes) and he always comments on how its lovely I don't use/need make up :rotfl: (ha!) Men just haven't got a clue ;)

Don't know what he thinks I am doing at my dressing table in the mornings! :rotfl:

    Yay
Some of the suncare is finally bogof in my out of town boots in Ashford. Got
2 x lip and eye sunscreen and 2 x glossy locks and only paid 76p with pinkie. Also they have loads and loads of mag and the s.a. allowed me to take 6! Will have to go back into town to get the TS serum etc again. It is so frustrating that one shop has the mags but no serum and the other has the serum but no mags!

Also managed to get last 2 td wipes in town centre boots free + 200 points.

What did puzzle me was this set of purchases:
    2 x Lynx gift set = £4.00
1 Ts LH serum, 1 Ts Shampoo: £0.01
    1 Td wipe free + 200 points
The sales assistant forgot to put the trousers I bought for £2 through the till so I spent £4.01 . But I still got the £5 till spit and subsequently the pinkie. Does this mean that 2 x lynx gives you the till spit without having to buy anything else? I have been making it up to £5 at least every time!

Until you can get to docs, boots do:

10067801?wid=200&hei=250&op_sharpen=1Then they do the 'extra' version, £3.99 or possibly £3.19 with 20% off in store. These are also 50% off with health club and quite frankly they are a godsend, I would not have stayed sane till doc gave me morphine for my back without them!

will have to be those's ones then hun :) thanks
will send jess's godmother in the car lol

I was stopped from using TS glitch yesterday :( I was putting my products on the till and this SA walked to me and said that she could not let me use the vouchers with the TS since it's the combined offer. However if i wan i can get the 2 for £7 offer. She said she went to nottingham office that morning and they said one of the offers would be cancel soon. I asked that since it has not been cancelled can I get my products today and then she said no i cannot use my vouchers since the 2 for £7 is on. so i left everything. Felt really bad about that since seems like she was waiting for me since when I was at a till another SA was a bit awkwarded when she saw my vouchers and the TS products and was looking around and then when i saw that SA walking to me with a security guard!!! (I think she rememberd me since i was there the other day int he evening and I dont look western, plus i go there qutie often since it's my local one)

I was at the shop the day before and she served me and noticed the glitch. So yesterday she said you were here before and the vouchers should be only for 1 person per use. Plus she siad there are some other customes are doing this so we have to stop them all.

I went home and called the customer services and was told that the shop should honor the vouchers by override the 2 for £7 if i dont want to pay £7 but get the BOGOF offer.

has any of this happen to any of you?
