Well i was in Birmingham high street boots.... and I go over to the TS part looking for the oh so preious(sp) serum (havent even done this glitch once yet:eek:) ... So i said 'Theres a voucher to use on this' And she was like 'Yeah I know thats why im buying it' ...... Hmmm, So i was like 'oh, how did you find out about it?' She replied 'The internet' :eek: ...'Me too!' My first meeting with another bootser.. I was reading the other day about this happening to someone else.. And i was like, that would be well weird.. But, she said she goes on 'pay to shop' more than MSE, how could anyone ever compare to you guys aye?! :A :happyhear her username 'rosy***' - forgot what numbers it ended with - I did feel abit embrassed though.. As i was having a real ugly day (even worse than usual days :eek:) - but she was lovely :A

Hi all and especially Beckie1236 whom I met in Brum today. It was lovely to meet someone off here, even though as she says I spend more time on PTS these days as mainly collecting Tesco points for a holiday. Can confirm no serum anywhere, mags in the Bullring, but strictly 1 per card. No files, unless Beckie got to them first lol. I used SS tills for the first time today, didnt like it one bit, SA had to keep coming over, and it didnt give me one lot of 200 points. Will stick to SA in future.
By the way sorry for delay in sending the naughty door hangers, had a family problem, posted them first class yesterday, so all of you should receive them today or tomorrow

Ive never met anyone before in boots , Becky your not useless for info its been more than helpful. Is the suncare bogof and half price in the high street boots, and did u get gwp? xx

Is it ok to be treated like that... I didn't make anything illegal... I felt really really bad... (almost want to give up bootsing)

Sorry to hear about your experience. That's why I wouldn't touch the SS tills with a bargepole. Boots haven't got a leg to stand on if you go to a till, give over your vouchers and say "Can I use these, please ?". But on SS tills I feel there is much more scope for misunderstanding and accusations etc. (Oh...and I'm chicken as well).
I seem to have the sort of face that security guards love (normally bright red and sweaty in Boots). I got followed the other day. For what ?? For using valid coupons that Boots insist on giving me every time I go to the till ?? They seem to be very heavy handed. It would put me off if I didn't have loads of coupons left :rotfl: .

Don't be put off ever u can only pay what the till says, just act daft if ur questioned. If ur wrongly accused make the biggest fuss u can, shout and scream at them so others can hear, ask for manager, police and call cs. Boots dont want or like bad publicity - its ur right to shop xx

I once stood in currys for ages after a argument wiv the manager, i got what i was entitled to in the end

Just back from a trawl of various south Wales Boots and there were loads of mags, ts serums, olay hand cream, TD under £5, No7 sun care & glossy locks (bogof & halfprice) by the shelf load and loads of pinky books spotted at tills and even some sanctuary moisturising socks. Also picked up Davidoff Freeze for £9.37.

In first store SA gave me an extra facial spit as someone had left one behind, and in the last store the SA happily scanned pinky and spit (after reading them)and was pleased when I got No 7 gel liner for free.

Been to both Wrexham stores today. Plas Coch - Davidoff Ice going through at 6.25 (SEL half price £12.50 rrp £25). Got JK files - does everybody have the T&G and MM vouchers put on manually ? had to wait ages for SA to take me to another till and then empty my hoard to make sure I had everything corresponding to the vouchers!!!! TS cond.trmnt but no serum so 1.01 paid for 2 items. High St store - serum available but DH with me and got confused and got shampoo & conditioner by mistake! Still plenty of R & M xmas sets upstairs(only one of the handbag mirror ones left now though)lol.

I didn't get it in the high street - got it in the bulllring and it wasnt bogof there had to use till spit no7 and pinky...
