I noticed the same thing....wondered if it was something to do with the plastic that the quilted case is made of

Am hoping that once it's been out of the packaging a while the smell might go.

I have mine in my handbag next to a sample spray of perfume. The perfume seems to overpower it a bit but I think it would still smell quite a bit if I took the perfume away......
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

I really, really have to recommend the Sanctuary Spa Warming Micrabrasion Polish - it is the BEST exfoliator i've ever found and smells just like a spa facial treatment.

  • My local had stock of the lash extensions today, but does anyone rate this? Had a look at it (like you do n a sniff  ) and it seemed rather dry on the brush. Haven't had any joy with No.7 mascaras and swopped all my free GWP ones in the past for other stuff.
I managed at last to find one of these today in one of my tiny local stores and it went through the till at FULL PRICE £10

Have one of these in my cupboard for my cousins bubba who will be 11 months at xmas also :) It says 6-24 months on the box.

I'd say they do not really play with these until they are 12 months anyway and it will probably last further than the 24 months as I have found with my friends who have children over 2 that they also like to play with their 'baby' toys aswell at times when they just want to play and not play and learn if that makes sense?

    Hi :)

Do you mean where are they in general or where are they in the Precinct store? Assuming you mean the latter - they seem to have changed the store around somewhat and they're just past the makeup, on the right hand side, just before you come to the skincare section. The first aisle on the right, just on the left of the perfume counter.

    HTH :)

hi yes sorry meant the precinct store, thank you so much i could never find them.

I'm not sure I said about it, but yes DS has the v smile baby, I got it for his birthday. It is aimed at 9-36 months. He only now is taking an interest in at 16 months as really it is just the unit alone they use as a toy at first and they play the interactive games when linked to the tv from 18 months really.

It comes with one cartridge which is not that grat in my opinion, then there are 3 more you can buy...dad at the farm, baby einstein and baby pooh.

So really I think the optimum time for this is 18-36 months, but again I think they would play with it longer than 3 years as the systems for afterwards like the standard v smile are for 3 to 7 year old and my friend bought one for her sons third birthday and he found it too difficult until he reached 4 to be honest.

I did a real search on prices for these and ebay is the best really!

    Another Coventry Bootser :D

Hope you managed to find them okay today..... I was thoroughly confused in there on Monday and was wandering around for ages. I hate it when they move the store around, it's most inconvenient :rotfl:

You're not alone:D I was away for nearly 3 weeks, and since I got back last weekend I've been bootsing 6 times and spent over £50:eek:

    <snipped>

Nice to know I'm not alone ;)

Anyone else wish to confess their spend in the last week and make me and sally06 feel better? ;)

I've got 4 till-spits to use tomorrow but also another 3 shops planned (for £5 each of course) so that will be another 3 spits and pinkies......

Just wanted to say a public thank you to hogshead the sweetie sent me a surprise parcel containing lots of vouchers but also...wait for it...a calculator! :j

Ok...that is odd newbies and skim readers may think! But I think I had said a few times after working out lists etc that I had not got one as I just do things in my head and that I must get one.

I have be given all sorts of fab gifts over the years but I can honestly say that none have been as thoughtful and useful as my new calculator :)

What a hun hogshead is eh :T

I'm dead chuffed thank you hogshead :kisses3:
