I thought I was all done with this promotion. No more pinkies, no more till spits. Then I got an envelope in the post this morning from my big sis. There were 6 pinkies in it. It would be a shame not to use them!! May have to look for the nail buffer sets for Christmas presents. And if possible a bronze pallette for my dd.

I too have spent a lot of money but I have nearly all my Christmas presents for this year and enough td after shave balm and shampoo for the next year. And I have spent much less than I would have done if I had left it to the last minute. So a huge thank you to everyone.

I got one of the No7 nail buffers for myself but when I opened it realised it smells REALLY strongly of glue or something! Anyone else find this? _pale_
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

Hiya anybunny  Welcome from the mad woman who haunts the retail park Boots in Cambridge :D

Did you check those two No7 palettes for damage before buying them? Mr BTVB picked up another bronzing one for me last week, but said loads of the palettes had been really messed up...why do people do it, especially when there are plenty of testers :(

Hello Mrs BTVB! I did check the palette, the first one I looked in had completely smashed to bits, I had to look through 3 or 4 before I found a good one. The retail park branch is good isn't it, nice and quiet shame all the TB bags had gone though.
I live in Huntingdon and the little Boots here is not up to much but I am in striking distance of Bedford, Peterborough and Cambridge, so plenty of opportunites there!!

  • OH MY GOD! It has taken me since this morning to catch up from this time yesterday! Can I ask that if anyone finds a glitch can they put the word glitch in BOLD RED so when us speed skim readers can stop at any potential glitches.

Some people have got some real bargains recently, I certainly did today whe I got some reduced toys and on 342! Christmas is nearly all sorted!

Also in my local store there seems to be something going on....4 huge crates of stuff stacked next to the clearance area, loads of people filling more crates around the store and huge emty expanses on some shelves! Also perfume counter was being cleared out into crates....I smell a HUGE sale coming on! For those whoa re local to me (Hoghead! Where are you btw?) it was in the High Street shop.
Will not spend more money:naughty:, but will spend more time looking for that great bargain!

    Hi gang,

Does anyone have a V- tech Roly Poly Penguin from Boots. Is this a good present for a 11 month old. Or is it too baby (ish).................anyone...........Broclo.lol

Have one of these in my cupboard for my cousins bubba who will be 11 months at xmas also :) It says 6-24 months on the box.

I'd say they do not really play with these until they are 12 months anyway and it will probably last further than the 24 months as I have found with my friends who have children over 2 that they also like to play with their 'baby' toys aswell at times when they just want to play and not play and learn if that makes sense?

I noticed the same thing....wondered if it was something to do with the plastic that the quilted case is made of

Am hoping that once it's been out of the packaging a while the smell might go.
