The spare one I have does have UK warrenty, I got it from Argos, the reason I mentioned Birmingham is that the person can have a look BEFORE they part with the cash (which is what it cost me) rather than buy from ebay & all that entails0 -

very much a newbie to this world - was thinking of a video ipod but saw the tv the other night and they rated the PSP.
I just want to listen to music, watch short videos on the go, in the gym etc.
The gaming of the PSP would be a bonus which i might use, but:
is the picture quality better on the PSP?
easy of use?
ease of loading on mp3s?
ease of converting video to the required formats?
portability?
value for money!!
Cheers - if this in the wrong thread appoligies0 -

you can't really compare a psp to an ipod-two different things!
and i wouldn't recommend using a psp in the gym!
plus, a 30Gb ipod video wil store around 7,500 songs,
you would need to buy a memory card for your psp and even if you got a 4Gb one (about £250), that would only store around 1000 songs.
both are fairly easy to transfer onto
but, unless you are into gaming, get an ipod.
plus, the psp bateery only lasts for 8 hours max, compared to the ipods 14
hope that helpsThe word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.
It's LOSE, NOT LOOSE.
