congrats, hope you enjoy it, i had a look at one in lakeland on saturday - how is it different to a slow-cooker
m
Hiya!
It cooks the same as a normal cooker, so not slow cooked...just normal IYSWIM. Its 70% cheaper than putting the normal oven on though.

Before I start I wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone who has helped me and I have now come up with my first meal-planned week (starting monday). This plan is for me and my OH.
I will be making our lunch time meals for work and our evening meals:
MONDAY: Lunch- Tuna & tomatoes w/spaghetti
Tea- Dhal curry & rice
TUESDAY: Lunch- Cheese, potato and veg pie
Tea- Egg, beans & chips
WEDNESDAY: Same as Monday
THURSDAY: Lunch- Cheese, potato and veg pie
Tea- Dhal curry & rice
FRIDAY: Lunch- Tuna & tomatoes w/spaghetti
Tea- The Fish and Chip Van - cant give up everything
SATURDAY & SUNDAY: We eat out (at families places) on these two days.
So with all of the above plus a few extras to include:
Yogurts, bananas, multi-packs of chocolate x3, crisps, frozen sausage rolls, apples, milk and ice lollies
And this comes to the grand total of............................... £30.72!! :T
I was aiming for £30 so Im really chuffed with that. You may think its a bit boring and its 3 different meals through out the week but Im starting small.
Wish me luck!
