Thanks for the birthday wishes... even though it was a few months ago...

Went to Doc on the 27th and blood test results were great. In other words it didn't get me any closer to finding out what is wrong with me. He was really good and talked me through everything that was tested - red cell count is good and not anemic, white blood cell count is not elecated, so not bug or infection that woudl show up in the blood works. Everything was just about perfect. I have slightly more bad cholesterol than good cholesterol, but my overall cholesterol level is low - which is good.

He was surprised i still had some pain so i'll be getting an appointment to see the consultant at the hospital. The pain has lessened since then and only get a stabbing pain about once a day - sometimes every other day now. Health still isn't good though. I still sometimes feel ill, but in the last 2 weeks, i've been feeling really weak to the point of feeling faint. Now when i stand on the train platform i stand in such a way that i'll fall back instead of forward - just incase. Always quite hot or feel like i have a temperature but making sure i'm drinking enough liquids.

Yesterday i made a payment of £2,070 which should pay off my loan and also cleared what i had put on my credit card. Now have a balance of £285 and even after i buy my train ticket will be in the black. Of course that's not including the £6k 'gift' from my folks that they said i would have got when i got my own place. From the initial debt though, not including interest, i've paid off £27,600. I'll have a look at the amount of interest i've paid later just to complete the picture.

Going to amend my signature now :D

Well done Mr George. Astounding work. I haven't known you for that long have I ? your other friends have known you for ages on MSE but this is a great achievement.

I hope the faintness is sorted v soon. Make sure you keep resting too at least the financial burden has lifted. Onwards and upwards my dear friend. With your birthday i was going by what you said last year! I didn't realise i was months out. Yikes. Worse at maths than i thought whoops and i am good at it (occasionally)!

That message is because MSE must have acknowledged that you have paid off that debt and recognise that it is the NEW GEORGE posting now :rotfl: :rotfl: Seriously, I've had a few problems with MSE tonight and have had to log out/in a couple of times

WELL DONE on the new financial position George and I do hope they get to the bottom of this tiredness and weakness soon so you can get on with your life :D:D:D:D

    Thanks guys (gals)

I think it's going to take a while to sink in. No celebrations or joyful jumps at this end, but that might just be because i'm feeling tired. I've just taken 2 weeks off so will hopefully be feeling better after some r&r - will go for a few walks and try to see if i can get my energy levels back.

    g'night all.
