    Hello
don't know bout tuna and sweetcorn is this with mayo ? dont think you can freeze mayo.
What my sil used to do when her kids were smaller was make up a big bag of ham rolls and also cheese rolls and freeze them then just add stuff ie salad, pickle, colslaw. thought this was a good idea

Thanks - I have seen ppl do this but again, how much can you add without it being soggy.
I add salad cream to my tuna for the kids - not sure if this can freeze either.

Thanks for your response, I can at least make some up even if not all - hope to hear more ideas if anyone has the answer?

No probs with food poisoning - I have worksed with people who have done this but personally don't as I find I don't like defrosted bread. I do however freeze soup and risotto to take to work, maight be ok for your DH but not the children. If they will eat if pasta in a tomato and oil sauce can be frozen and eaten hot or cold. But lettuce, tomato and mayo don't really work - you can sort of freeze them but they taste horrible!

Sorry if this is a daft question but can tinned tuna be frozen?

I was going to have some tuna mayo with my jacket potato for dinner but i cannot eat a whole tin and am fed up of throwing it away.

If i can be frozen, would you freeze it in its orginal state (e.g. the way it comes out of the tin) or mixed into tuna mayo? :o

I have only frozen fresh tuna but I find that tuna mayo keeps for ages in the fridge.

Hmmm i was thinking the same but i really don't know when ill eat it, i'm not a huge lover of tuna, but really like it with fresh onion on my jackets! Its just not very MSE if i can't use the other half of the tin! :p

no reason for it to not be frozen, at worst it might lose some texture when thawed but will still be 'safe'.
If you feel my comments are helpful then I'd love it if you 'Thanked' me! :)

Thanks, i'll probably just use it for the same thing in a couple of weeks anyway so it shouldn't matter to me.
