After initially getting the "your email has been forwarded to the relevant department" response, I have now received the following.....

Thank you for your recent e-mail enquiry regarding the online ANDREX® "Hello Softie" game.

We are sorry that you are disappointed with our competition. Your comments are very important to us, and we hope that our response will reassure you that the game is legal and fair and was approved by our promotional consultants and the ISP (the governing body for the Sales Promotion Industry).

In order to win, players were required to correctly complete two tasks:

1. Correctly answer a minimum of five questions which were randomly selected to make each game unique.

2. Locate three matching prize images randomly hidden behind nine squares by clicking on three squares only.

The competition had 916 prizes up for grabs throughout the promotional period, 28 April-17 August 2008. All 916 potential winning cards were inserted into the game by a computer programme throughout the duration of the promotion.

No purchase was required to participate, and there was no limit to the number of games each player could play.

We are sorry that you feel let down by the promotion, and you can be confident that we will share your comments with our Marketing team who will take on board such feedback for any future promotional activity. We appreciate your interest in our products and promotions.

i got same email xxx what an absolute joke, they knew all along that hardly anything would be won xxxxxx it probably cost them more in advertising than prizes for their comp xxx
