NUS card for AS levels

NUS democracy cards are completely free, though some colleges/sixth forms have the NUS logo printed on their own ID cards and so they act as those cards.
NUS extra cards are just there to give more discounts in addition to ones you can get with standard ones- also part of the money charged for every card goes into the local student's union, so it helps them organise more things for students, which is no bad thing!0
