How long to get past statements?

How long does it usually take to get copies of old statements?
I requested them from Barclaycard and Lloyds tsb 2 weeks ago. I included a cheque for £10 with each (which have not yet appeared on my bank account).
Am I just being impatient?

maybe another 10-14 days- i think they have 28days for initial request? check out the reclaim section on main site.Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..

I thought they had 40 days. Barclaycard seemed to take ages with mine. You'll get the info though. 0

I have online banking, I have viewed all £299 worth of charges online. Can I write out the dates and amounts of charges in my template letter or would I have to print them off, or would I have to send off £10 for the official statements?

barclaycard are slow, sent mine over 4 weeks ago and still nothing!
