Aol £6.99 - questions?

We have been offered this, we have been paying £17.48 for absolutely nothing for the last 7 months, we had moved out of the property and have been staying with parents. We have now moved into our new property, would AOL offer a refund instead on the past 7 months?

We have taken out a 12 month BT Calling Plan. Does this mean we can't use AOL's unlimited calls offer? Would Aol start the phone package when BT's 12 month finishes? Does BT's caller display and 1571 still work?

Am confused? Any experiences from you?

Thanks

I doubt it, it is not their fault you did not use it.

re BT 12 month - it might prevent - this is what aol website says
'AOL Talk is not compatible with BT light user scheme, BT Featureline, ISDN or Home Highway or if your line is set up for incoming calls only (InContact Plus). Further technical restrictions may apply. '

re 1571 - just tried 1571 - it said ' this line does not have a call answering service - but also mentioned pressing 1 to order it.' I'm not bothered about 1571 anymore anyway as it was only omportant to me when line tied up with dialup.

Best you phone AOL and ask you questions. you may also find these links useful.
