The DMP of Emily

Hi everyone
Not posted recently as been trying to sort finances out and trying to work things out with my boyfriend (still together, just!).
Anyway, have made my first payment to CCCS. 3 of my 10 debts have written to say they are accepting my payment plan (2 x Lloyds TSB credit cards and Barclaycard Loan). Transferred everything over to my Nationwide account so that Lloyds TSB don't take any of my wages or benefit.
Capital One and Egg have sent me defaults notices and my Lloyds TSB overdraft is now over the limit as they have added their charges on.
I'm going to talk to my boss on Monday and see if I can go back to working full-time again. That will mean an extra £200 a month and an earlier DFD of Dec 2012.
I've opened up a savings account and am putting in all the odd pounds and pence from my main account. Will all add up I guess and I can always get to it if I need it. I've also got a penny jar that counts the coins you put in and am putting in everything I have left at the end of the day that isn't 50p, £1 or £2. I've got over £8 in there so far.
Not much else to report at the moment.

Hi Emily
It's great to hear from you. I'm really glad that things seem to be working out for you. I'm sure you've seen already but the payment a day challenge that you started has loads of newbies and everyone is still adding what they can everyday if possible. I have to give you huge thanks because it has really helped me a lot.

Hi everyone
Just a quick update. CCCS have got my first payment :j , nobody else has officially accepted yet, however LloydsTSB are the only ones hassling me with phonecalls (which I am never in to take so I get a person leaving a message that can't even pronounce my name properly!!).
Anyway, I am paying my rent tomorrow and after that is paid, I am TOTALLY SKINT!! I just put £5 worth of petrol in my car that has to last for over a week (fat chance!), bought a 35p lettuce for my boys (rabbit and guinea pig) and have got £5 left which I have to post an Ebay item with.
I get £67 every Wednesday through my DLA but that is going towards my rent tomorrow so that is all taken. Got to last a week with less than £5. My mate at work suggested I go sick for a week.
Anyway, I put a DS game and some Babyliss curler things that I never use on Gumtree and a woman wants to buy them both but doesn't have transport. I said that I would take them to her for a bit of petrol money. Hopefully that will come off and i will have £20 for those items. However, it's my cousin's birthday on Friday (more like a brother than a cousin so I always give him £10) - I know some people will say don't but I always do) so half of that will go on him and I know that I've got a £15 water bill coming out next week so the other half will go towards that.
I spoke to my boss today and he has said that I can work full-time again but claim the hours as overtime until Christmas and then if I am ok to carry on (healthwise) then they will make it permanent. I start next Wednesday but won't see the extra money in my pay until the end of November. Should mean an extra £200 when I start getting it in my pay.

Thanks- my DMP payment is ok - I just didn't do as many questions as I should have on AQA last month due to all the problems with my boyfriend.
I will make sure that doesn't happen next month.

Well I have paid my rent (phew) and I sold those items to that woman for £20 - didn't get any petrol money though. Cheeky cow sent her daughter to the door who just shoved the £20 in my hand, took the bag I had and shut the door in my face!! Why are some people so rude? Still, I needed the money so couldn't really do anything. Used up some of my precious petrol though  .
£10 of it has gone into my cousin's card and the other £10 is destined for my account for the water bill. Going to have to raid my change jar I think. Need to try and sell something else in the paper or on Gumtree.
Received a Donnie Darko DVD through the post today which I got for doing a survey thing so will try and sell that. Tried to sell some CDs on that Music Magpie website but they only wanted 1 out of the 25 or so I tried and they were only offering 50p for that  .
There's a local shop by me that buy used CDs, DVDs and games. I might see what they will offer me. At least I will get cash.
