Using mobile credit

Hi
I am on pay as you go with O2 and I'm very happy with it. I pay £15/month which gives me 150 free mins and 100 texts. But as I use my phone for receiving calls more than calling, my credit keeps growing and I'm starting to wonder whether it is possible to use it for anything else, like shopping. Any idea guys..I'd be grateful.

Apologies if this is a stupid question, (I'm not on O2 so don't know) but do you have to top up every month?

Why not stop topping up and let your credit run down a bit.

No that's not a stupid question at all. I have two reasons for keeping topping up:
1- It gives me free mins and free txts without using my credit.
2- It allows me to pay only £7.50/month with O2 broadband.

I think it is a very good deal but it would be even better if there is a way to use that accumulating credit for something else.

I hope there will be someone who's got an idea

You only need to top up by £10 every 3 months to qualify for the £7.50/month broadband so missing a couple of months to let your credit run down should not be a problem.
