    For the record, Halifax transfers in Isa's from other providers at no charge and back out again with no charge too.

    They are currently offering 5% on their variable isa direct (telephone/internet account) and a fixed isa too.

    If you want to transfer in to a fixed isa you have to call into the branch to do it, if you want the variable one you can call them on the number listed on their website.

    DO NOT APPLY ONLINE FOR AN ISA there seems to be a fault with the application process give them a call, if you want to transfer in have your existing details at hand, this can all be done in about 10-15 minutes on the telephone maybe longer if you are a new customer...
