    Hi,

I know I have been bantering with bears about the housing market, but this is serious.

I have seen a 5 bed property with swimming pool and sauna reduced from 1.1Million to 900K.

I think 200K is a good reduction! trying to moneysave!!

Normally I would offer 65% of value, but the are not a desparate seller.

I'm gonna offer 765K cash for it

    Any thoughts?

Thinly veiled "I've got condiserably more money than you" thread IMO

    who cares?

Really, who cares if he has more than (some of) us?

    I don't care! I don't care I have less than very, very many of you....really, I don't.
There does seem to be an inverted snobbery when someone has stuff , unless they are tremendously humble about it. Good for whoever has a million, presuming its legal and fair, I hope I do one day!

That one's no good, because a) nobody wants an outdoor pool, and b) the pool's not fenced, so you'd be fishing dead children out of it all the time.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

    (E) I'm trying to talk up the housing market by pretending I'm just about to snap up a "bargain". I'm trying to create the illusion that I've got lots of money so it appears that people with good financial sense (Myself) are currently getting good deals on houses and it's not a good idea for mere mortals (with less financial sense than myself) to wait around for prices to fall further. Buy now.

I'm over here ... taking down the permeter fencing, increasing the slopes on the grass surrounding it .. and watering that grass well.

    Good to see you :)

In all seriousness, I cringed in Venice once to here some British tourist grumbling about how dangerous it was and how all 'those pavements' should be fenced off.

Funny how any Venetian kiddies survive at allwith all that open water:rolleyes: (I might feel differently if and when..... )

You should definitely buy it - that sounds a BARGAIN!!

A 5-bed house round my way (no swimming pool I'm afraid) will set you back a bit more than that http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-20267603.rsp?tr_t=buy&pa_n=1&mediamode=pictures&curr_media_n=1&from_showcase=false:money: .................so I'd go for it if I were you!

    Weird,

One of the bathrooms is a walkthrough to what appears to be a conservatory. Weird?

In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:
