Retiring My eBay 'Classic' design
The current My eBay design will be retired on eBay.ie on 2nd March and eBay.co.uk on 9th March, and the ability to opt out of the new design will be removed.

Retiring old search system
Last year we introduced a new search system on eBay.co.uk. Until now, buyers and sellers have been able to choose not to use the new search system.
However, with more than 98% of you now using the new search we'll be retiring the older technology in April 2009.
If you're one of the few users who's opted out, you'll see some reminder messages during your searches. We suggest you familiarise yourself with the new search in the coming weeks so that you're ready when the old search is retired.

i hate it too, theres no opt out link anymore so i guess were stuck with this.

I've been looking it at it all day, still hate it but I have used the edit buttons and changed things around and put in a order thats better for me, collapsed some on the useless boxes and its looking a bit better.

The new eBay format is a classic case of overcomplicating things "beacuse we can".

I find it now runs much slower than before, frequently causing my browser to pause for several seconds (great for those last minute bids ) and why do I now have to click to see a large picture rather than just scroll down and have tabs for info that used to all be there on one screen ?

They have gone from everything useful being on one page, with simple tick boxes to narrow things down, to pop-ups and timers everywhere.

Clearly designed by some graduates that have never actually used the site.

Can someone please tell me how to mark items as sent now. The option has disappeared off the actual item page, and I can't find the option on my 'sold' page :mad:

There's a little down arrow to the extreme right of the screen on your 'sold' list. Click this and it will give you the old options that used to be immediately accessible including mark as despatched..

I haven't heard of anybody who thinks this new design is an improvement. My main concern is that it is slower, clumsier, and harder to navigate. Things only get worse don't they?
