OK, as promised here's the update to the prob I was having. Phone call from KF this morning to let me know the new exhaust was there, agreed I would go down at around 12 this afternoon. Did so and the guys had the new exhaust on pronto.
A quick run on the way back home and the exhaust began rattling a bit but I was told that if it did to take it straight back (exhaust bedding in, etc, etc). Did so and again the guys had it up on the ramps and sorted within minutes.
Now I can't say that I am anything but delighted with the result as the car does NOW sound like it used to, it purrrs rather than rassssssps! and this thread has obviously helped my cause although it can't be overlooked that KF have risen to this and responded. Now I know people will be quick to think that the only reason KF have done this is because of this thread and the truth be told it may be, although at the end of the day it does prove that KF and others like them don't want bad publicity and will listen. One person does have a very big voice on forums such as this so my advice to anyone who had tried various avenue's to resolve any problem with any company is get yourself a very large soap box (i.e. these forums).
In fairness to KF, I now have a car which I am once again happy to drive and I thank them for that (yeh yeh, "if it was done in the first place") and I agree although for my money I now have a genuine vauxhall exhaust which I reckon I would have had little change from £1500 if it was from a VX dealer.
Well done KF for doing the right thing and thanks to all who participated in this thread, it's been an (unexpected) pleasure!!!.
