Not travelling till oct, but just got off the phone to expedia as i still have no e-ticket number even though i have a booking confirmation (someone explain that to me as NWA couldn't understand it either)
Expedia stating NWA Rejected the ticket as the price was incorrect. The new price is essentially Doubled!!!
Did explain to expedia my conversation with NWA, of not understanding why the booking was not ticketed. Expedia said they will speak to NWA and see what they can do.Don't hold much hope, not looking good.Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -
I've just checked and Orbitz have charged my card the full amount for my booking. I also have e-ticket numbers with both KLM and AirFrance. Fingers crossed, but it all looks okay.
I think it's better to pay a bit extra and book with a more reputable ticket agent. If any of you are unlucky enough to have your bookings canceled, try Orbitz. 200 quid for a return flight to New York at Christmas time is still a bargain. I paid 50% more last year, and that was before the fuel surcharges.0 -

Good morning guys
Been keeping a close eye on this and got nervous about my lack of e-tickets so e-mailed Bestflights yesterday. Below is a summary of what came back:

I have just sent you a copy of your itinerary (which will come from Sabre Virtually There), which, in conjunction with your booking and payment confirmation will work as your e-ticket. Please print out a copy of each and present it upon check in to obtain a boarding pass.
kind regards,
Leigh

Subject: FW: Best Flights - Flight Booking and Payment Confirmation
Dear Sir or Madam
I was just writing to enquire as to the status of the booking below as I notice that full payment has been taken for the flights but as yet, no e-tickets have been issued to me. It would seem that the flights are confirmed on both the Northwest and KLM websites so I was just wondering if there had been any problems at all?
Kind regards
Andrew Smith
I have had the email from Sabre Virtually There so I'm guessing I am ok now?0 -
This thread is sort of closed really.
You may get a better response (and it will help to keep things tidy) if you post in this current thread.0 -
How is the thread sort of closed? It is not closed0
