I want to say a big thank you again.
I bought the cables I needed from Tronisoft in the end, and they have been a godsend. I can now use the HP Laserjet5 printer or the HP Laserjet1100a.
Without your trusty advice I would have had the cost of a new printer. The old but perfectly good printer would have been made redundant.
Also the word is out now and Ive bought another cable for a friend in work.
Many thanks0 -
Must have missed your reply here longforgotten. No problem at all for the advice. They're a good little printer so would be a waste to bin it just because you can't get a cable.
For future reference though: I'm a dab hand at fault finding and fixing these so if you have any trouble with it then feel free to contact me and I'm sure I'll be able to help. I also have a small stash of spare parts too.0
