Free contracts and company reliability
Currently with OSPS on a 12 month 'free' (with cashback) contract - they have been totally fine in terms of sending the cheque at the right time. Looking at the current options for a similar deal they include Mobile phoneshop.com (http://www.mobileshop.com/mobile-phones/o2/contract-mobile-phones/nokia-6030.php/PNEWO260300003) or Cool-new-mobile (http://www.shop4offers.co.uk/cool-new-mobile/o2_sony_ericsson_k300i.htm). Anyone know anything about how reliable these companies are, and any indications of 'dodginess'? I know it's nearly impossible to guess if a company is about to go bust, so losing the cashback, but some are much more difficult to deal with than others and generally the older and larger ones seem less prone to going bankrupt... Any thoughts (or similar deals with other companies?)?
