probably too expensive but i've heard theyre really well built, so they'll probabyl be better value long term as they wont need replacing.August grocery challenge: £50

could i also just mention...whichever hutch you get, put extra foxproof locks on...ideally padlocks but bolts would do. swivel latches = no good at all.
if you can, add an extra layer of mesh or wooden shutters for nighttime too. My rabbits got killed the other day by a fox which chewed through the wire mesh to get inAugust grocery challenge: £50

Clutterydrawer - so sorry for the loss of your bunny. I would be absolutely heartbroken if anything happened to our Bob (but he's a house bunny so fortunately no chance of foxes).
PLEASE get the biggest hutch you can afford. I know they say minimum 5x2x2 for one rabbit but it's really not very big. Make sure your rabbit can fully stretch out in all directions and can stand on his tip toes. He will not be able to do this in a 5x2x2. Have you considered a house rabbit? Ours is fantastic and hilarious with all his little ways and we'd never have seen all the different parts of his personality if he lived in a hutch. He's very clean (uses a litter tray) and loves cuddles and comes to wake us up in the mornings if he thinks his breakfast is late along with loads of other endearing things. He does chew things sometimes but it's a small con for the very large number of pros.0
