I like this one:

cheapest price I could find for that model.0 -
Im in birmingham, and theres 3 near to me the closest a 15min drive the furthest 40 mins.
Its a large chain of shops which buy items in bulk or end of line items, meaning they get them very cheap (compared to RRP). They do not have a website showung the products. Just post the area you live in and see if other posters on MSE know if there is one local or do a search on google. In two of the stores in Birtmingham there are quite a few in stock (have not been into third).
It was similar to those at pets at home, but was bigger and much cheaper.:confused:I say im a moneysaver, my family think im a cheapskate!0 -

I'm in Tamworth and looking at the site, there's actually five that are nearish to me....Burton On Trent, Coalville, Rugeley, Aldridge and Perry Barr.
I don't suppose anyone knows which would be the bigger and better ones out of these branches?
Still can't believe I'd never heard of them when there's all these branches near to me! :doh:0 -
i dont know about which is the biggest but i do know that there are quite a few at the one in perry bar. Theyre at the front of the shop by the window:confused:I say im a moneysaver, my family think im a cheapskate!0

Thanks everyone for all your input!!
I phoned 4 home bargains stores who were out of stock of the larger cages and went to visit one of their stores today..not a single rabbit hutch in stock (trust me to pick the wrong store to visit!!!)
We have decided to go for the one above....however, on this site its a 4 week delivery!!!
I also found it on a site called zooplus which was £144 or thereabouts as they give you 10% off your first order...have tried to ring them and it sounded like it was an international ring (very odd!!??)..have emailed them too but no response either! think I would rather give this company a 'wide berth' and go somewhere else!
Has anyone seen this hutch elsewhere?
Many thanks!0 -
Have you tried this company http://http://www.happyhutch.co.uk/details.php?product=70 I have the 6ftx2ftx2ft hutch attached to 6ftx4ft run. They also sell on ebay just search for 'massive rabbit hutch' and they are £129.99 incl postage. According to the animal welfare act the minimum recomended size of hutch for 1 rabbit is at least 5ftx2ftx2ft and for 2 rabbits it is 6ftx2ftx2ft.0

please have a look at http://www.rabbitrehome.org.uk/ there is a forum on there which is full of great advice on keeping rabbits. There are quite a few people from your neck of the woods, who could recommend local companies and craftsmen, who build to your spec.
I have to say you would be better with something like this http://stores.channeladvisor.com/The-Rabbit-Hutch-Shop/Items/SDH64?&caSKU=SDH64&caTitle=LARGE%20%20RABBIT%20HUTCH%20AND%206%20X%204%20RUN%2c%20HUTCHES%2c%20CAGE%2c%20RUNS, in terms of rabbit welfare.
REMEMBER, under distance trading you can cancel any orders within seven? days and get a full refundThe sign of a wasted life is a tidy house, Welcome to the chaos!0 -
Hi,
I bought this one http://www.bitsforpets.com/product_info.php?products_id=3391
It's called the Freddie and it's huge. I bought the run aswell which gives them plenty of room (and they need plenty of room). It's so deep that I have to stretch to reach the corners but my bunnies love it. I got a litter tray from jolleys that fits through the door with the ramp and hides behind the left door, the bunnies use it (most of the time).
It's well worth the money especially considering the space it provides.
Bunnies need as much room as a small dog or cat so don't leave them cooped up in a tiny hutch plsBuy somthing like this hutch instead.
